Have Shoes on Theatre bring a little more magic to your World Book Day...

Why not treat your students to a World Book Day drama workshop this March?

Let us help the children imagine the pages away from the book, delve into the characters and get lost in the settings. See our packages below.

KS1: Interactive Storytelling Workshop

Let us bring the stories to life through drama activities and role-play. The children will explore the characters by stepping into their shoes. We will help transport the children's imaginations to the setting of the book through fun-filled activities and games.

Choose one of our favourite books or perhaps let us know what you are learning:

  • The Rainbow Fish, Marcus Pfister
  • The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson
  • A book of your choice (We will adapt the workshop to the themes and story of your chosen book)

KS2: Beyond the Page Workshop

We will take the story from the pages of the book and immerse students into the world of the story. Through drama techniques, movement, and role-play, we will explore the themes of the story and have students get creative. Only their imaginations are the limit...

Choose one of our favourite books or perhaps let us know what you are learning:

  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl
  • Letters from the Lighthouse, Emma Carroll
  • A book of your choice (We will adapt the workshop to the themes and story of your chosen book)
