We are Shoes on Theatre, a children's theatre company founded in 2017.

We know that drama is a stepping stone to a creative and confident person, and we are here to expose more young people to the amazing world of drama.

We each have over 8 years experience working with young people. This is through a variety of teaching drama workshops and teaching drama in a classroom.

Having graduated from The University of Winchester with a BA Honours degree in Drama, Kay went on to lead drama workshops at the Theatre Royal, Winchester and has even taught drama classes in Beijing, China whilst living there for one year.

Kay appeared in the West End musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' for many years as a child, and continued to perform in productions at University including, 'Hair', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Caberet'.

She loves bringing drama to life and inspiring more young people to love drama.

Rachel has been passionate about drama since a young age.

Rachel studied for her BA Hons Drama Degree with the University of Winchester.

Whilst studying, Rachel appeared in many productions including Blood Brothers, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Hair and Titus Andronicus. She made her directorial debut with The Laramie Project at the Theatre Royal Winchester.

Rachel taught drama workshops with Young Theatre Royal for children aged 5 - 16. She has experience working with children in the UK and China, where she lived for a year as an English teacher.

Drama has been a huge role in Rachel's life, and she loves nothing more than bringing this to her teaching.
